The Brazos Valley Worldfest is returning on Saturday, November 9th with fun for everyone! Don’t miss your opportunity to explore various cultures at this weekend festival.
Brazos Valley Worldfest celebrates international awareness by offering cultural displays, demonstrations, international cuisine, performances, children’s crafts, storytelling and many other activities. These activities have expanded beyond the one-day festival to include an International Film Series in the fall as well as Culture Club dinners throughout the year.
In addition to awesome exhibits, Brazos Valley Worldfest will again be bringing back its popular International Candy Shop! Have you ever tried Maple candy from Canada? Or flavored Kit Kats from Japan? Now’s your chance to sample even more candies from around the world! Pick your own favorites to try or select a prepared Candies Around the World bag to take home.
This year the festival is partnering with the Queen Theatre in Downtown Bryan for the 3rd Annual International Film Series. The festival is excited to expand its offerings with four international films from around the world, shown every Sunday in November. The theme this month is “Through the Eyes of a Child.”
The mission of Brazos Valley Worldfest is to promote and celebrate the international diversity and heritage of the Brazos Valley. Texas A&M University and the Brazos Valley Worldfest Board spearhead the organization of this community-wide festival.
